The track was later entirely re-worked by producers A. G. Cook, Life Sim, and Lil Data, and was included in this remixed form on XCX’s 2017 mixtape Pop 2.
Multiple demos of the track have leaked, one of which includes vocals from an unknown male singer. Another version includes a verse from Stefflon Don but Charli linked up with Lizzo for the final release.
Charli XCX hasn’t released new music since last year’s Troye Sivan collaboration 1999”Last week she teased her fans over the potential release of “Taxi”.
