Sitapuram plant honored with Group Safety Recognition

Safety has always been a key focus area across Italcementi Group. The Group practices strict safety norms across its facilities and encourages ‘Safety as a way of living’..
 
On 9th April 2015, our Sitapuram Plant completed 1 year without a loss time injury. The plant was honored with “Group Safety Recognition – 1 year without LTI” by Group Safety Manager, Mr. Philippe Labbe on 23rd April 2015 at a function organized in the plant .  Mr.Sunil Kumar, Plant head, received the award on behalf of all employees of Sitapuram in the presence of our MD, Mr.Nabil Francis.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr.Philippe Labbe, advised all to aspire for a holistic safety approach of making “Safety A Way of Living”.

Sitapuram plant now has its own Safety Centre
Italcementi group, in its Safety Policy has laid out that it firmly believes that all accidents can be prevented and are committed to apply the best safety standards in each work place, and above all train people at every level, to ensure that they are safety conscious at workplace and knowledgeable on safety practices.

The New Safety Centre at Sitapuram was inaugurated by Mr.Nabil Francis, Managing Director and Mr.Philippe Labbe, Group Safety Manager. This New Safety Centre will be equipped with all the essential Training aids & related resources.
 


Mr.Carlo Foroni, Technical Director, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Plant head, Sitapuram were among the senior officials who attended the function.
