The latest edition of ‘Zuari Cement’ long service award was held at Bangalore ,on 10th June 2013. These annual awards were
instituted three years ago to recognize the loyalty and
commitment of our employees, which reiterated the conducive
working atmosphere in the organization.
Employees with 10, 20 and 30 years experience were rewarded
with a suitable gift and a certificate of appreciation by our
Managing Director, Mr. Nabil Francis. Out of them, 2 employees
completed 30 years of service, 12 employees completed 20 years
of service and 5 employees completed 10 years of service. Senior executives welcomed and greeted the awardees and their family members. It was a proud moment for the awardees, as being recognised for their dedication and commitment to the organization amongst colleagues and their family members. |

ISO 14001:2004 certified for Chennai Grinding Unit

Our Chennai Grinding unit was commissioned in the year 2011, within the short period of time we have received the certificate of registration ISO 14001: 2004 for having a “Environmental Management system”.
ISO 14001:2004 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system and can be certified to. It does not state requirements for environmental performance, but maps out a framework that a company or organization can follow to set up an effective environmental management system.  |
World Safety Day celebrated at our premises

World Safety day was celebrated at our premises, during the
program the group standard on code of practice for drivers and
I-Take 5 safety initiatives were launched on the occasion of world safety day. All employees and contract workers participated in this event and learned about the group rules on safe procedure for
driving. Truck drivers were given a general health checkup in the medical camp.
